I found this video browsing on YouTube the other day. I think that it is simply fascinating, but others that I've talked to who have seen it think that it is a little bit creepy. The video is of a guy that took pictures of himself everyday for 6 years and then put them together into a movie. The music is pretty cool too. Alison thinks it' a mix between the credits music from The Truman Show and a Radiohead song. Without further ado, I give you the much anticipated movie:

I've Been Outed!
Yesterday at work, I came in from eating my lunch in the breakroom and my boss Sam (name changed to protect the innocent...) came up to me and told me that he knows my secrets and that 'Big Brother' was watching me. I was a little confused but he always says weird things so I wasn't sure what he was talking about. He then told me that he had found my blog. I'd heard that it was common for bosses to 'Google' employees names to dig up trash, etc. but this wasn't the case. He was instead googling 'Feederall' the program that I mainly use at work, and my blog showed up on the first page of hits on Google. I did blog about Feederall once a couple of months ago. I'm pretty impressed that this ting even shows up on Google. Who'd a thunk?
I told him and my coworkers that because I had been outed, that I would have to delete half of my blog because I was mainly writing trash about them. Lucky for me that wasn't true. Just goes to show that if you are going to sign your name to something on the internet, then make sure that it will never show up to haunt you in the future.

White and nerdy
Lucky you. Today you can all judge for yourself how you stack up to being white and nerdy. Truth be told, I do pretty well...

It's Not Ada!
I just wanted to post a quick picture of the newest baby in the extended Squire family. It is Sophie Whitesides, born to Jeff and Cheryce Whitesides on Wednesday, September 20th early in the morning. She weighed 6 lbs, 11 oz and has a ton of hair. Here is a picture of the little darling.

She is a little jaundiced and so she has been under the special lights for the last couple of days. Hopefully, she will have improved enough by tomorrow to not have to lie under them any longer.

Utah 38, SDSU 7

The Utes started off the Mountain West Conference Season on the right foot yesterday. They lost to the Aztecs last year at home and this year they were out for revenge. In short, they got it. They started off scoring the first touchdown but San Diego State answered with Eric Weddle missing coverage and giving up a rare touchdown. This made him angry and he showed why that was bad news for SDSU.
Utah then went on a tear and their defense played exceptionally well, forcing 5 turnovers. Weddle had 3 interceptions and returned 2 for touchdowns. Ratliff (the quarterback) didn't have the greatest stats for the game but he began looking better and better as the game went on. It was his best game from the running point of view.
Mom, Dad, Rachelle and Shelby all came over to our aprtment to watch the game because they don't yet have the Mountain. Hopefully they'll get it soon or they'll be driving down here for more games. San Diego State has yet to win a game this season. Next week will be a real test when they take on #22 Boise State at home.

Utes 48, Utah State 0
The Utes are now 2-1. They played a hard-fought battle with Utah State on Saturday night, barely squeaking by with a 48-0 win in Logan. I debated on whether or not to go to the game, but the temperature at the start of the game was only 48 F and it only got colder. The game was put away early with the Utes returning an interception for a touchdown on the second or third play of the game. For the Aggies, it was only downhill from there. They finished the game with a total of 6 turnovers and less than 100 yards offense. Even I, as a Utah fan, felt bad for the Aggies and was hoping that they would at least make a good play sometime. They did get insied the 10-yard line once, but the runningback fumbled the ball and, of course, the Utes recoverd. So now Utah has 2 wins over extremely weak opponents and 1 loss to a very good UCLA team.
What that all comes down to then is that we have no idea how good or how bad Utah really is. We know they aren't horrible, Utah State is horrible. That makes this weekends game against San Diego State pretty important for the Utes. Many people consider this game a patsy, but I'm still not sure how good Utah is. Either way, it will be a fun game to watch.
Now BYU on the other hand, they should be 3-0, but instead they are 1-2. If they would have made it through the first 3 weeks with 3 wins, they would be ranked and their game against TCU (#16) would certainly be a big game to watch. In my opinion, David james said it best here (Top 10 Reasons BYU Lost to Boston College).
In other news, Ada is now more than 8 weeks old. She is smiling a lot more and will follow you around with her eyes as you move about the room. It's fun to have her more attentive to our movements and more responsive to our cooing. She is certainly a doll.

Utah 45, NAU 7

Utah got their first win of the year over the weekend. Granted it was over a Division II school, but they certainly needed the practice. The Utes looked really good during the game and were able to put together a handful of good drives. My only gripe is that they didn't put Grady (back-up quarterback) into the game until almost midway through the fourth quarter and by then it was too late to allow him to make any passes (I wanted to see him throw the ball). Anyway they can get it, it was a good win for the Utes.
