Amsterdam - Day 3

 Day 3 - Arnhem & Cologne, Germany - March 31, 2018

Today we visited the Netherlands Open Air Museum and Cologne, Germany before making our way to the beautiful little town of Monschau, Germany.

I love taking photos of sleeping kids.

Somehow Lyla ended up on the floor with her coat on.

Ada's souvenir for the trip; a jar of 6 American Style Hot Dogs.

The main event for the day was visiting the Netherlands Open Air Museum.  We spent a good chunk of the day here and it was awesome.

Sheep.

Obligatory bridge pic.

We rode on an old tram that circled the park.

Lovely gardens.

A shoe tree.

There's the tram.

Climbing a windmill.

The view from the top of the windmill.

I think I'll turn our house into a big windmill.

Visiting an old house.

Playing at the playground.  I'm not sure about this rope dragon contraption.

We found an area with old games.

Yeehaw!

Obviously I'm a natural with my excellent balance.

Another natural.

Milkmaid Ada.

Back on the tram.

All aboard!

Doing the washing.

Look at that tongue. She must get it from Alison.

She's a natural at just about everything!

So many photo opportunities.

Ada loves pigs.

We had a blast at the Netherlands Open Air Museum and highly recommend it for anybody visiting the Netherlands!

Our next stop was about a 2 hour drive to Cologne, Germany. We wanted to visit the iconic Cologne Cathedral.

Chalk art on the plaza in front of the cathedral.

Of course we brought our latex heads.  The stranger helping us take photos got some action shots of us getting ready.

Here we are!

Tomorrow we spend Easter Sunday in Monschau, Germany!
