Day 2 - Universal Studios, Los Angeles - November 12, 2016
I got a real kick out of this car in the parking lot of the grocery store where we stopped to grab breakfast and some snacks.
Our hotel was just a couple of exits from Universal Studios Hollywood. We had nearly a whole day to kill and for some reason this is where we wanted to spend it.
The mandrakes were especially loud today. They must be ready to be transplanted.
I just love the forced perspective and how you feel like you're in another world.
Hogsmeade.
Frozen butterbeer.
Alison nearly lost her lunch on the Harry Potter ride, so she wasn't dying to join us on the Simpson's ride. While I took the girls she passed the time by posing with her favorite TV stars.
Once upon a time Ada was known in the family as Cletus the Fetus. She doesn't look like a Cletus anymore, so Ada is a much better fit.
Backlot Studio Tram Tour.
Lunch. Pizza and pasta.
At the playground.
Waiting for Shrek 4-D.
Lyla with her heroes.
We had to stop by The Wizarding World of Harry Potter for some last photos. The light wasn't nearly as harsh as it was earlier in the day.
The full moon rising over the castle was especially spooky. It was finally time to leave to the airport and return our car and get on our long flight.
This picture was taken at about 11 PM Utah time. We were all ready to get into our economy seats for some much needed sleep.
Tomorrow: ???

Harry Potter world! Squeeee!!!!
Love the expressions at the beginning of the trip, as opposed to what inevitably comes at the end of a whirlwind vacay that you guys had. :)
