Bring it On!

Everybody knows that I love this time of year (I've been looking forward to it for the past 49 weeks!). Now that the brackets are out, BYU fans are complaining about their seeding..., everybody is arguing over whether the great Bulldogs of Gonzaga can take down the Davidson Wildcats and it's time again to fill out your brackets. Just follow these simple instructions and you'll be all set:

1. Go to ESPN's tournament challenge page.

2. Login or create an account

3. Click on create or join a group

4. Search for the group "2H2H" (without the quotation marks)

5. Type in the supersecret password "utah"

6. Fill out your bracket and prepare to be embarrassed (probably by Alison)

There's no fee for joining, and in return the most that you win is pride (unless Alison decides to ante up for a prize). If I inadvertently offended anybody with my short anti-BYU rant, then please accept my apologies. I'll be in Anaheim watching them in person and they better represent (I'll be the guy in all the Aggie gear). Best of luck everybody!

I think the Cougs were one win away from a 7 seed. If they could have beat Wake Forest, MSU, or had they won the title game in Vegas they would have seeded better. My major gripe is playing the conference 2 seed on their home court for the title. RIDICULOUS.
I don't buy the $ argument either. The championship game was not a sellout in Vegas, but you know it would have been in Provo or ESA.
If the Utes were in the Cougars position I'm sure you would feel the same way.

Have fun in Anaheim and enjoy the 8 seed - 1 seed upset!

I totally agree that the automatic berth is UNLV's for the taking. I think that the fairest place to hold the tourney would be in Phoenix or something - but they may get less people than they did in Denver (Alison and I went to a couple games in Denver and the crowds were unimpressive)...

Phoenix, LA, or the Bay area. I can't blame people for avoiding Denver in March.

I like the old school. Winner hosts the tourney idea too.

I am not afraid, bring it.. Maybe I need to remind everyone that Rachelle and I tied for the win last year. Probably 2 of the most clueless ones in the running. (sorry Rachelle) I am hoping for another crazy fluke this year!

It's too bad you got your tickets to the NCAA tournament so early. If you had chosen to wait you could have gotten tickets to see Utah play UTEP in the CBI. Will you be holding a bracket for the CBI as well? :) And in reference to your anti-BYU disclaimer, I would hope that no one gets upset over a little good natured ribbing. Have fun, wish I could join you.

You can join me. I've got 3 auctions on ebay with 6 tickets to the anaheim games. (1, 2, 3)

As for the CBI brackets, I tried to fill one out but because they reseed in the middle of the tournament it made it awfully difficult. I do like how the championship series is a best of three format. This is the only way to truly determine the 97th best team in all the land.

If only... (I could afford to join you that is. I still have to be a student till August.)

CBI is the great tourney in the land! I believe that whoever wins that coveted title is truly the peoples champ. Or chump...yup the peoples chump.

BYU is the best! I love BYU and think that it is the only school in the whole world. They will beat whatever horrible school they play first and then beat whatever overrated #1 seed next. The Cougs should be the #1 overall seed. In fact they should not even play this tournament...just give the trophy to the Y!

I'm so confused Brett, are you still talking about the CBI? Because sure, BYU would make a great #1 seed...

hmm, it appears that I've been impersonated. I'm quite confident I was asleep at 5 am. I suppose I'll have to be more careful and sign with my google identity.
