Today we ventured out to the Cape of Good Hope and Table Mountain National Park
The drive from the city was quite lovely.
Our first view of the penguins at Boulders Beach.
We had fun just watching the penguins do their thing.
Lovely beach, but no penguins on this side except for a few in the water.
We went on a short hike around the cape.
We could see some humpback whales out in the ocean.

It was really cool to see these birds just running around in the wild.

We stopped by Boulders Beach on our way back to the city. This time there were a few penguins on the beach that we could walk on.

Our last stop of the day was at the famous Muizenberg Beach. It was way to cold to swim (not to mention windy and on the brink of rain as well).
Tomorrow we visit the famous Kirstenbosch National Botanical Gardens.
