Today we caught a morning flight from Cape Town back to Johannesburg. We picked up our rental van and made our way to Kruger National Park.
We passed many townships (slums) on our way. The drive was around 4.5 hours and we had to be in the gates of the camp by 6PM or we would be turned away. We made it with just a few minutes to spare.
Once we entered the park we were searching for animals. The first ones that we saw were this pair of rhinos.

We stayed at the Berg En Dal Camp Site about 10 miles into the park. Our reservation was in a family cottage. It was not fancy, but it was a ton of fun.
By 9PM the girls had crashed.
Tomorrow we start our African Safari Adventure!
