Thailand & Vietnam - Day 9

Day 9 - Waterpark - September 2, 2017

Today was our last day in Phuket.  We checked out of our awesome hotel room and made our way to the hotel's waterpark.  Pretty convenient.

There are shrines at every business, every home and all sorts of other random places.

Our first view of the waterpark.

This post has lots of so-so photos from our gopro. Lots of waterspots on the lens.

Lunchtime.

Ada's closeup.

Lyla's closeup.

Looks like it might be a corndog, or at least the Thai version.

Lounging it up on the lazy river.

Pizza for dinner.

Alison was sad to leave her favorite pool...

We had some time to kill before we left for the airport, so we took the drone to the beach.

Time for our animal head picture.  I wanted the beautiful sunset to be in the background, but it made us too dark.

So instead, we got the view from the other side.

A dronie.

Panoramic animal head shot.

Contemplating life's big decisions.

Lovely Phuket sunset.

By 8PM, waiting for our flight Kate was out.

Lyla getting comfy while we wait for our bags in Bangkok.

On the road from the airport to the city of Bangkok, there were all sorts of huge billboards.  The King had died almost a year previously and they were still in mourning.

Tomorrow we start exploring Bangkok!
