San Diego 2018

Every year in late January we take a trip with some good friends to the Farmer's Insurance Open at Torrey Pines Golf Course. It is something that we look forward to every year.

We were on the plane by 5:30 AM.  The flight wasn't too crowded, so we paid to upgrade to First Class.  This was Alison's first time and only my second.

We made it to San Diego without problems, BUT..., our friends and traveling companions missed the flight and ended up being re-routed through Seattle.  We visited La Jolla while we waited.

We finally made it to my once per year golf outing.  We golf at the Coronado links.

We got started a little later than normal, but the game must go on (with glow in the dark balls).

This is our very most favorite dessert place in San Diego.

Look at those gems. Our favorite is the chocolate croissant bread pudding.

Imagine getting ready for bed and then looking up to see a koala staring at you. Is this a good surprise or a bad surprise? You be the judge.

And now onto the main event. We love spending time outside walking around and following the different players.

Tiger.

Tony.

The crew.

One last visit to the beach before heading home.

Obligatory head shot. Alison still kicking in the koala mask.

Isn't San Diego just beautiful?

Next up on the blog is a family trip to the Amsterdam area!
